Calendula Flowers:
One of the most well known and studied flowers, calendula is widely used for healing and soothing wounds and inflammatory skin conditions. An abundance of studies show the powerful healing and soothing properties of calendula for all kinds of skin conditions (1,2).

 

St. John's Wort:
Most studied for its internal use as an anti-depressant, St. John's Wort has been used traditionally as an anti-inflammatory when applied topically. Recent studies have shown it to be effective at lessoning psoriasis lesions (3).

 

Lavender Buds:
 Lavender contains two inflammation-fighting compounds called linalool and linalyl acetate which are likely the compounds responsible for the soothing and relieving properties of lavender for: eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, itching, and rashes. It has also been found that it: increases the rate of wound healing, promotes the growth of collagen, and boosts the tissue remodeling process of the skin. (4,5)

 

Uses: Dry Skin, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, Diaper Cream, Nipple Balm, Cuticle Balm, Under Eye Salve...the list goes on! This truly is our "do it all" product!

 

Directions: Apply anywhere skin needs hydration or healing. Reapply as often as needed. Recommended application for inflammatory skin conditions is at least 3x per day.

 

Ingredients: Grass-Fed, Grass Finished Tallow, Olive Oil. Infused with: Calendula Flowers, St. John's Wort, Lavender Buds. All Organic ingredients.

Amazing!

Love this tallow so much! I use it as an all-around moisturizer, and it makes my skin feel so good. I am thrilled to use products with clean ingredients at a reasonable cost. I love every product from Soma & Aretz so far!

Miraculous for Dry Skin

We live in the desert and my newborn got really bad baby acne that quickly turned into flaky, scaly dry skin all over his little face. This tallow balm cleared it all up in a matter of days! We use it daily on his little face and it helps keep his skin soft and moist! I also use it as my everyday lotion and chapstick and it works wonders! Really cannot recommend this produce enough.

Clean Moisturizer for Dads

The tallow balm is wonderful! We have lots of kids and someone's always sick, so I wash my hands ALOT. At the end of a typical day my 38 year old hands look and feel like they belong to a 70 year old. The balm really relieves the dryness and cracking, and it's great not having to worry about all the chemicals in most skin lotions! Thankful for an option like this!

The best!!

This infused tallow balm is the perfect whole body lotion. I also use this for my baby. Everyone is always complimenting her on her beautiful skin. I’ve never dealt with the typical newborn acne or rashes with her. It has also helped me tremendously with my weird postpartum skin issues that have come up.
